Frozen Drink Machines-Questions & Answers
  • Question: How much is it to rent a Frozen Cocktail Machine.

  • Answer: That would depend on the number of hours that people will be getting drinks out of the
machine. Our rentals are based upon calendar days. Please call and talk to one of our party event
specialists so we can help guide you to the machine we think will best suite your needs.

  • Question: Are the machines easy to use?

  • Answer: Yes, Very Easy! We deliver, set up, and provide a tutorial on every machine that is delivered.
Our knowledgeable staff will ensure you are familiar and very comfortable using your machine before
leaving. These machines are VERY expensive. If they were too hard to operate, we would not trust the
thousands of renters that we have already rented to.

  • Question: How long does it take to freeze the drinks?

  • Answer: That depends on the machine you rent. Unlike other rental companies, where their machines
can take from 60 – 240 minutes to produce a small output and result in the same long period to freeze
again, our high capacity Industrial machines take as little as 5 minutes to freeze. This gives our
customers more time to party and less worries.

  • Side note: For larger functions we can produce as much as 5 gallons of frozen margarita mix in just
    One Minute!!

  • Question: Can I put the Frozen Drink Machine outside?

  • Answer: Yes, unlike other companies you may have dealt with in the past, our machines are insulated
depending on the model you rent.  We do recommend putting them in the shade to help maximize
efficiency. They definitely work better in a temperature controlled environment.

  • Question: Do I need to have someone run the machine throughout the party?

  • Answer: NO WAY! The whole idea of having this machine at your party is to give you a break. Whether
you have 1 guest or 300 let the guests pull the handle and get their own drink out. Your guests will
have FUN dispensing their own drink and you get to ENJOY your party without having to serve all your
    guests.

  • Question: What kind of outlet do I need?

  • Answer: OK, now this is important. If you rent a 115-volt machine you need a dedicated 20-amp outlet. It
will plug into any of your outlets at your house, BUT you have to make sure the Frozen Cocktail
Machine is only plugged into one of your 20 amp breakers. Most houses have about 40 % 20 amp
outlets and about 60% 15 amp outlets. These machines pull about 18 amps and HAVE to be on a
    DEDICATED 20 amp. outlet.

  • Question: What is a dedicated 115V, 20-amp circuit?

  • Answer: The electricity in your house runs through circuits identified in your breaker box. Each circuit
is usually listed by name. For example, you might have a circuit that serves your kitchen, another for
the master bedroom and bath, another for the patio. The Frozen Cocktail Machine must be the ONLY
thing drawing electricity off the 20 amp. circuit. If you plug our machine into a 20 amp. patio outlet and
then run a warmer or ANY other electrical device, the electricity will get divided between the various
appliances and will probably trip your circuit breaker.
  • Keep in mind older circuit breakers may be weaker and will trip at lower amps.

  • Question: I don’t understand electricity that well, what do I do?

  • Answer: If you do not know how to determine whether or not you have the proper voltage needed,
please call us and we will help you. It’s really VERY EASY to determine which plug will work best at your
house, if not properly labeled on the circuit panel. All you need is two people, 10 - 15 minutes and a
radio. You need to figure out which outlet you can use at least a few days BEFORE your party. I’m sure
your house has the necessary electrical requirements needed but it might take a little time to find the
outlet that will be adequate for the frozen drink machine. Please call us if you have any questions
    regarding any electrical concerns.

  • Question: Do you sell the mix?

  • Answer: Yes our mixes are very popular with our renters. We sell more than 50 different variety of mix,
including a superb Margarita, Strawberry Margarita, Mango Margarita, Daiquiri and Pina Colada Mix. All
    the mixes are VERY good!

  • Question: Do you provide the alcohol? Do the mixes contain alcohol?

  • Answer: No, and no. You must purchase the alcohol yourself. We provide a product that mixes well
with tequila, rum or whatever liquor you choose.

  • Question: How hard is it to make your Margaritas?

  • Answer: It’s very easy to make our mixed drinks, we even loan you a five gallon mixing bucket to make
it in. We will have the recipe printed out for you when we deliver the machine. Mixing it up is as easy
as 1,2,3: 1.)Add mix, 2.)Pour your alcohol, 3.)Add the water into our container and shake it!

  • Question: Can I use my own recipe?

  • Answer: You can but we prefer that you use our mix for several reasons.

  • 1. We will not guarantee your mix will freeze properly since we have never tested it.

  • 2. We will buy back any unopened mixes that you buy from us. We can give you a good estimate of how
many of our ½ gallon "3 to 1" or "5 to 1" concentrate mixes you will need, but it's always more
convenient to get one or two extra “just in case”.  No one wants to run out of something at their own
    party.

  • 3. A selfish reason I know but – I know our mix tastes good, but I’m not so sure about yours. Our
machines advertise and represent our business every time they are at a party – If they're not clean,
working properly OR not producing a good tasting product (even if it's not ours) your guests (our
potential future customers) will not consider taking one of our business cards because of it. Your
guests “assume” that the mix coming out of our machine was provided by the rental company so we
want your frozen drink to taste even better than you do because our livelihood depends on it.

  • Question: Do I have to clean the machine?

  • Answer: To ensure costs are kept low, we ask all of our renters to please help us keep the machines
clean. All the renter needs to do is run cold fresh water through the machine at the end of the party
until the water coming out of the spigot is clear, and wipe the machine down with a damp cloth (only).
The set-up/delivery crew will instruct you if anything else is necessary. The machine should be
returned as clean as possible without taking it apart. Please no sticky mess! When we get the machine
back we will take it apart, thoroughly clean and sanitize it before it goes out again.
